The short version

Use our apps in good faith. Don't be a jerk to other players. The dollar amounts in our games are imaginary — no real money changes hands inside our apps.

Who we are

Lazy Dog Apps LLC, a Michigan limited liability company based in Ypsilanti.

What you can do

  • Use our apps
  • Share them with friends
  • Tell us what you'd change
  • Send us ideas for things you wish existed

What you can't do

  • Use the apps to harass, threaten, or harm other people
  • Try to break into them, scrape them, or use them to attack other systems
  • Pretend to be someone else in a way that hurts somebody
  • Use them in any way that breaks the law

Imaginary stakes are imaginary

This part is important. Dirty Chains CTP and any future Lazy Dog Apps game that features "stakes," "buy-ins," "wagers," or "pots" uses imaginary play money only.

  • The dollars on screen are points. Bragging-rights units.
  • No real money is exchanged through the app.
  • We don't process payments. We don't issue payouts. We don't hold funds.
  • We don't run a betting service or a gambling platform.

If you and your friends decide to settle up in real money outside our app, that's between you and them — we have nothing to do with it and accept no responsibility for it. We strongly recommend keeping the dollars where they belong: imaginary.

Beta and changes

Apps in beta might break. Features may change without warning. Data we store isn't guaranteed to stick around forever, though we try to keep it. We may change pricing, features, or these terms. Big changes will be announced through the app, email, or this page.

No guarantees

The apps are provided "as is." We don't guarantee they'll be bug-free, always available, or fit for any specific purpose. We don't promise the apps will work the way you expect every time. Your use of the apps is at your own risk.

Limit on liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Lazy Dog Apps LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our apps — including lost data, lost time, or hurt feelings from a tough loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the prior 12 months (which, if you've been using free apps, is zero dollars).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. Any disputes go through Michigan state or federal courts in Washtenaw County.
